meet your craftswomen
All our pottery is carefully handmade in small batches in a family run pottery studio in Hanoi. Owned by the extraordinary Vu Thi Toan , who started making pottery at just 9 years old. By 25 she owned the studio, and became the first woman in Vietnam to export ceramics. Pottery is in Mrs Toan’s DNA, she comes from a long line of potters and learnt her craft from her mother and father.
our team
Our team is made up of incredible, inspiring, talented women with years of experience making unique tableware. So you know your pottery is in good hands. We are very proud to be working with and supporting Vietnam’s first women led and women owned studio to export.
In this world of mass produced items, we think it’s so special to meet the amazing people who have carefully made each of our pieces for you, with love.

What an inspirational woman Mrs Toan is (in dark blue above). I loved being at the studio and seeing all the incredible women, proudly creating. Toan’s son studied and worked in Singapore.
